Philippine Web Awards Goes Urban

The Philippine Web Awards takes on the “Urban Jungle” this Nov. 23, at the OnStage Theater in Greenbelt, Makati City. The theme is all about city life and street culture, a source of inspiration for the country’s top web designers and developers.

Now on its 7th year, the Webbies promises another unforgettable awards night, this time with an urban flavor – hip-hop music, club DJs, and urban streetwear.

All guests and participants are invited to come in their best urban streetwear attire, and that means hip-hop clothes, tribal fashion and Tokyo street attire. A special prize awaits the Best Male and Female Urban Streetwear Dresser.

It will certainly be a dynamic evening, with performances by one of country’s best club DJs, DJ Kimozave; the talented upcoming hip-hop group Audible; the acoustic sound of the hit trio MYMP; among others. The awards night is hosted by Bam Aquino and Iya Yotoko.

The Philippine Web Awards is an annual competition organized by Media G8way Corporation. It is supported by Microsoft, Macromedia, and Nexus, with MTV Philippines as the Official Music Channel, Imperium Technology as the Official Content Manager, Mozcom as the Official Internet Service Provider, Bitstop Network Services as the Official Web Host, Alter Media Solutions as the Official Wireless Marketing Partner, Furball as the Official Multimedia Developer.
